Participants were actively engaged in the theoretical and practical sessions build bases for reporting and have hands on experiences to operate the tools.

This training exposed the participants to new tools and options in solving conservation problems. Although the participants were empowered and attained new skills, there is need to equip the sanctuary with these tools for effective practice and application in especially research, monitoring and conservation of the Rhinos, which is Critically Endangered.

The training was funded by BINGO ENVIRONMENTAL FOUNDATION and implemented by ECOLOGICAL TRENDS ALLIANCE in collaboration with REGENERATIVE SAFARI VENTURES.
